Robert Battle’s “Dedicated to You”
In every possible way, 2025 is a year of expansion for the Paul Taylor Dance Company. We have opened a new home in Midtown Manhattan while retaining our longtime studios on the Lower East Side. We have welcomed new dancers into the Company and undertaken new creative initiatives. Chief among these is the addition of another Resident Choreographer, Robert Battle – news that Artistic Director Michael Novak first shared with audiences last November 6 at the premier of Robert’s work Dedicated to You. Thank you for your support, which makes all
our growth possible.
Casting Jada Pearman in this solo, Robert made Dedicated to You in honor of his mentor Carolyn Adams, esteemed Taylor alumna and our Director of Education. In his five-year engagement with the Taylor Company, Robert will create many other new works for our Company. To mark this exciting development and to thank you for your support, we are making a video of the tech rehearsal of Dedicated to You available for your viewing for a limited time.
We hope you will consider making a donation to support our creative work. Thank you.
Please note, this link to view this exclusive content will expire on February 14th when the Taylor Company returns to Purchase on tour for a performance.
