Notes: A work in three parts, American Gensis is a dance of parallelism, comparing the beginnings of American culture with those of the creation story in Genesis, where man and America are personified through a host of named and unnamed biblical characters including the fall archangel Lucifer, the archangels Michael and Gabriel, Adam, Eve, and many more.
