As a pioneering dance maker, Paul Taylor blazed new trails throughout his 64-year career. In addition to presenting the Paul Taylor Dance Company in dances from Mr. Taylor’s collection of nearly 150 works, PTAMD also provides choreographers with the invaluable opportunity to make dances on the Paul Taylor Dance Company in a nurturing atmosphere through the Taylor Company Commissions program. Those dances are then performed at Lincoln Center, and some go on national tour with the Company.
