In the heart of Midtown Manhattan on West 38th Street, Taylor Dance West offers state-of-the-art facilities for your next rehearsal, class, studio performance, or special event.  Explore below our four studios available for rental.

  • Wendy E. Scripps Studio - 1,716 sq ft

    Large 33′ x 52.5’ wood-sprung floor with black “Marley” covering. The studio has a sound system and is ideal for rehearsals or studio showings.

  • Bettie de Jong - 957 sq ft

    Medium 33′ x 29’ wood-sprung floor with black “Marley” covering. The studio has a sound system and is ideal for rehearsals or studio showings.

  • Scripps + de Jong Studio Combined - 2,673 sq ft

    Extra Large 33′ x 81.75′ Studio. Seamlessly combine both the Wendy E. Scripps Studio and the Bettie de Jong Studio for large-scale classes, rehearsal, or events. Natural light is abundant with south and north facing windows.

  • Studio 3 - 810 sq ft

    Small 27′ x 30′ Studio. Single-height ceiling studio with wood sprung floors and full-length mirrors. Perfect for small classes, rehearsals, or practices. Full sound system and digital keyboard available.

  • Studio 4 - 1,125 sq ft

    Medium 37.5′ x 30′ Studio. Single-height ceiling studio with wood sprung floor, “Marley” dance covering, and full-length mirrors. Perfect for medium classes, rehearsals, or practices. Full sound system and console piano available.

TAYLOR DANCE EAST

In Manhattan’s historic Lower East Side, Taylor Dance East offers column-free space perfect for full-scale performances, as well as, rehearsals and special events.  Explore below our two studios available for rental.

  • Sam Scripps Studio - 2,442 sq ft

    Large 66’ x 37’ wood-sprung floor with black “Marley” covering, with an additional non-dance seating area. The studio has a grand piano, a sound system, and video projections system all available for rent. Also available for rent are risers and chairs. The studio is ideal for performances (audiences up to 120), rehearsals, corporate events, and parties.

  • Michael "Bo" Bowman Studio - 1,056 sq ft

    Medium 44’ x 24’ wood-sprung floor with black “Marley” covering. The studio has a sound system. The studio is ideal for rehearsals or preparation area for events in the Sam Scripps Studio.
