No one celebrates insects and animals better than Paul Taylor! Join the Taylor Company and Orchestra of St. Luke’s for an afternoon of magical storytelling and look behind one of New York City’s most iconic curtains.
The Performance

Artistic Director Michael Novak has curated a program filled with wonder: perennial Taylor favorites Gossamer Gallants and Diggity alongside Sergei Prokofiev’s symphonic fairy tale, Peter and the Wolf, narrated by actress, recording artist, fashion designer, and philanthropist Vanessa Williams. Following this performance of beloved musical scores and unparalleled, athletic dancing, we will gather for a celebration with special activities and access.
Meet the Taylor dancers on the theater’s Promenade – get their autographs and pose for pictures – while you enjoy refreshments. Paint your face to become the characters you’ve seen on stage and try some of our signature movement with faculty and professional students from the Taylor School. You even have the chance to visit the dancers backstage as they share behind-the-scenes insights and lead you on stage to imagine the experience of performing at Lincoln Center!
The Party

The Diggity pass [$100], access for one child and one adult to experience post-performance activities on the Koch Theater’s Promenade, plus a backstage tour directly after the performance!

The Gossamer pass [$40], access for one child and one adult to experience post-performance activities on the Koch Theater’s Promenade.
